I CANT EAT (PLEASE HELP)

Hi everyone, I had my lap band surgery January 29 since then I have had 2 fills and lost 36lb, however it has been a couple of weeks since I cant eat anything without throwing up. Everything that I eat gets stuck and I end up throwing it up, so I really have not been eating much. I am so scared that my band is loose, I dont think that is too tight becuase I would of felt the discomfort since the fill and this started a couple of weeks after. I what suppose to go see my Dr. yesterday and I miss the appoitment due to my bad cold and now it turns out he is out of town for almost a month. He did leave someone on call for him but I dont know if I feel comfortable with this Dr. if I would have to go under again. If anyone has had anything like this happened to them please write back, I am desperate to know.

Hi Judith, I'm so sorry to hear you're having these problems. You do NEED to call your doctors office and talk the nurse at least and see what she/he says. If you need to see the other doctor, see the other doctor. This is your health. I don't know what could be happening, but do think you need to get it checked out. Also, you may get better info on the main board or perhaps the LapBand or January boards. Everyone on this board is pretty new. I wish you luck and please let us know what happens. Pam

Perhaps your stoma is irritated from something you ate. Have you tried going back to liquids only for a couple of days. Monique

That is what I am doing now hopefully when my Dr. sees me he doesnt say is slipped.
