Hi everyone!

I know that it's been awhile since my last post. For the past few days, for some reason, I was not able to log in. Go figure! I will be having a total mastectomy next week on my right side. I finally decided on the previous because I was told I was too heavy for their radiation machines. And I wasn't going to drive from Salem to Portland every day just because there was a place that could handle someone of my size. So June 14th is the big day for that. I had my meeting with Dr. Patterson. She told me that as soon as I lose my 18 lbs and get a letter of being cancer free from my cancer sugeon, and a signed copy of my goal weight faxed up to them. They will send my records to the insurance company and then probably 4 weeks later I will be having my band installed. So now I am preparing for my mastectomy, then recover and weight loss, and then lap band. Can't wait to catch up with all of you. Sheryl

Hi Sheryl- Sounds like you have been through a lot! I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through this. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers on Thursday the 14th. May it go extremely well and I pray you heal quickly. Please keep us posted on your progress. Pam
