So everything is working out!!

So as everyone probably knows I have been FREAKING out about having enough money to travel to L.A. to have surgery.............I was scared because my surgeon wanted me to "stay around town" so that just in case there was a problem thean I would be near by.......So that meant staying in a Motel for two or more nights on MY penny........UMMMMMM NO! LOL We are having a hard enough time coming up with all the freaking money for gas............ Well anyways I talked to the nurse today and she said that she thinks it would be ok for me too just head home right after Im released since im only 2 hours away........ SOOOOOO WOOOO HOOOOOOO..........I feel sooooooo much better about money now.......... I am accually starting to get excited about everything.........

That's great news! I know what you mean. I am having surgery four hours drive away but over an international border so I have to stick around for a week after surgery (meaning an additional four nights after being released from the hospital). DH and I were up last night working it all out. Approximately 13% of the costs will be covered by Health Care here but that's not for a year and that's not a whole heck of a lot! Good to hear you have been cleared to go home. It will probably be better healing at home anyway! Best of luck! Alison

that is terrific news! im sure you already know this but don't forget a pillow for the drive home to press against your tummy when you hit bumps!! good luck judi
