Flu Sinusitus and a Postponement

I am so upset. I have had the flu all week and now I have a sinus infection. I am scheduled for surgery on Monday at 7am. I left a message for my nurse practitioner to see about my surgery, but I know they will have to postpone it because I need to take antibiotics for 5 days. I doubt the surgeons will be able to get me in next week so I will have to wait another week. I was originally scheduled for the 29th and then I had to postpone because of my husband's work. I feel like I am never going to get banded. Plus another week of protein shakes!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for reading I just needed to vent. ~Maggie

I'm starting to panic - my doc's office called yesterday and my pre-op tests came back with elevated liver enzymes. It could just be due to a fatty liver, or....hepatitis! They had me come back today for more bloodwork. I'm scheduled the 18th in Texas...we have our plane tickets, hotel, rental car, etc all set up; my in-laws are watching the kids for 2 weeks; my husband has the time off work. If this thing gets postponed I don't know what I'll do! PANIC....they said it will be at least mid next week before the results are back and I start my liquid diet Monday. I'm crossing my fingers it will work out! Please keep us up to date on your status. Hang in there.

Oh Margaret, I can completely sympathize with you. This is a MAJOR worry for me too! I feel so badly for you and hope you get a quick reschedule! Just know that everything happens for a reason! Best of luck! Alison
