Surgery date - June 4!!!

It feels like I've been waiting so long and now it is just around the corner... My doc didn't put me on a pre-surgery diet, just told me to try to lose some weight. Not much success so far. Any chance he will not do the surgery if I don't lose weight?

Congratualtions on getting your surgery date!! That is coming right up. Dr. will probably not cancel surgery if you don't lose weight. The surgery is just easier for him and easier on you if you take off a few lbs first. I have to be on a 2 week liquid diet before surgery (june 14) to try to reduce the size of my liver. I think they do that with many people who are having lap RNY. Anyway, I'll be thinking of you on the 4th. Soon, you'll be doing the skinny dance!
