PET scan

went yesterday for pre-op and cardiologist, now I have to have a PET scan on my heart. I was so upset I cried all evening, called Holly at Dr. Shinas office today She said most people have to have an additional test of some sort. She doesn't think it will delay my surgery. I certainly hope not. Of course my boss isn't real happy about me taking off another day. I swear this surgery may cost me my job. Oh well at least I'll be thinner and healthier in the unemployment line. Char

Don't be upset, Char. I had my pre-op Wednesday and found out I have to have a filter put in my artery the week before surgery. That means I need another day off work, too. But, just remember that all of these tests and procedures are so you will have the best chance of successful surgery and no complications. So, cheer up. You will soon be healthy, thin, happy, and hopefully, still employed.

Charlotte im sorry to hear that you got to have another test.But i went yesterday to ,an i got to go to a Vascular Surgeon Consult.6-4 and my surgery is scheduled for 6-18 so i dont no. darlene
