My date is June 6, 2007

Hey guys, my surgery is scheduled for June 6th in Columbia, MO. The closer I get the more nervous I get. Anyone else hit that point yet? I am getting married July 7th---my fiance` thinks I am going to leave him once I lose this weight. WOW, he thinks I am that shallow. Anyone else having that issue with their partner? Him and I have been through so much and PLUS we have kids involved. We have been in counseling for this and it's gotten better but he still throws out those "jokes" every now and then. Ah well. I guess if I have to spend the rest of my life showing him I am not that kind of person I will. Thing is, I have been 125 lbs in my life before and I was NEVER that kind of shallow person. Anyway, nice to meet you all. :-)

Too bad we couldn't visit in the hospital after surgery! I have one girl that is going in on the 4th that is coming to visit me in my room! How fun! Congrats!

Congrats on your upcoming big day!! My surgery date is the same day so I will send up happy thoughts for you that morning. My husband has been throwing out those "jokes" as well, and after ten years you would think he'd know better!! Like you, I guess it will just take time to show him that is the last thing he should be worrying about. I wish you the best of luck and nice to meet you!!

Hey Amanda~ Thanks congrats on yours too. My fiance` actually was left by his ex wife for their boss at work..so I suppose he has reason to be "scared" but dang give me some credit here. Have a good one. Hope your holiday has been good Cheryl
