Surgery Date June 5th -OKC

Hello Everyone, I am new to the site and this is my first post. I got my surgery date and it is June 5th. I am excited and ready. I begin my 10 day pre-op diet on Saturday and am a little nervous, but the outcome will be well worth it!

Hi and welcome to a great site. I have my lap band surgery on 6-5 as well I can't wait I only have to do two days of pre-op diet. I guess every surgen is different. Trish

Sorry about that I guess I forgot to mention that I am having gastric bypass, so I think that is the reason I have to be on the pre-op diet longer! Thanks for the support!

Me, too. Can't wait. Preop tomorrow...Will be thinking of all our June buddies!!

Hi, this is my first post as well. My surgery date is also 6/5/07. I'm so nervous but excited too! I can't wait till it's over and I'm losing. I seem to be getting more and more nervous as the time draws near. It seems like I'v waited so long, but now it's here!! What is your pre op diet like? Teri

Hi Teri, Congrats and good luck. I have been on the liquid pre-op diet since Saturday and I am going to be honest - it is hard! It also didn't help that this last weekend was Memorial Day and everyone was grilling, but I am hanging in there.
