June 6 anyone?

I am having surgery on June 6th and looking for some surgery "buddies". Any other June 6 'ers out there? Lisa R.

My surgery is also on June 6th! Have you been on a liquid diet? My surgeon doesn't require that. So -- I am excited but a little scared.

I will need to do a one week liquid diet. It really hit home when I was trying to make lunch plans with a friend-and our schedules were such that it wold have had to be next Thursday...too late unless I want to watch her eat! I am getting really excited-but also a little nervous. Lisa

No liquid diet for me! After I got past the big out in my stomach, I became extremely excited! I can gardly wait.

Yes! June 6th with Dr. Alvarez, lap-band to sleeve. I am getting nervous. Only 9 1/2 months ago had lap-band and thought it was the right decision, but it wasn't. Sure hope this isn't a mistake too. (UGH! I am soooo nervous about this.) Anyone else going to Dr. Alvarez? AnnieZ

Annie, I am excited yet a little nervous. I think this is a normal response anytime you are having surgery. I know for me this is the right choice. I had to do a three month diet before approval-that gave me plenty of time to think and research and learn. Even knowing this is what I really need to do, I am a little anxious. Do you need a pre-op liquid diet? Just curious. I am not looking forward to it. I'm glad I only need one week. Lisa
