Scheldule for Revison of lapband to gastric bypass

Have anyone out there had a lap-band and a revison (gastricbypass) I'm scheldule
for g/p in june. I am so excited about g/p . I was wondering if somebody out there had a lapband, and now revison- gastric- bypass , please give me some feed back,

Congrats, on 06/18 surgery date, (lapband) . I had surgery 09/02 (lapband)
6 week post op .I had me first adjustment, and lost 4lb only. 2mth later another adjustment . lost about 5lb more . when I went back for 3 adjustment. I was told that my belt flip. I was scared , I did'nt feel anything abnormal, I was schedule for surgery 2 weeks later and the band was repair, after the 6 week heal again. I received 4 adjustment . and i really did'nt lose any weight after that point. I got so discourage,
no pounds coming off . december of 2005 I had the lapband remove. the lapband did'nt work for me.
Carlotta, you are going to have your surgery 6/18 . and you are going to be a success story. you know everything don't for everbody, well that was my experinces

I can not remember the screen names of the people I am referring to but I have seen 2 other people on here who have had to have revisions. One because after 2 years she had only lost 40lbs, the other one was because she has only lost 4 lbs....total. I can not remember how long it had been but I think hers was pretty recent. I guess one of the most important things that people need to learn is that you can still drink all the calories you want with the lap band. You can also eat whatever you want because there is no threat of dumping.
