Is anyone else looking forward to some great sleep w/ surgery. I have 2 kids (ages 3,6)who I will miss terribly but ummm I am looking forward to sleeping soundly.. lol Since the hospital is 100+ miles away I have to stay in a hotel 5-7 days after surgery.

My kids are 15 & 19 (this one away at college), so I sleep wonderfully! But hey, enjoy the break...not every day we get vacations huh?! Take care, Pam

Only trouble with that is they keep waking you up in the hospital. When I had my hysterectomy 2 yrs. ago, I was so darn glad to get home so I could get some sleep. The nurses come in so often during the night to take your vitals and they always do the identification thing, making you say your name, etc. -- it was a real relief to be left alone to sleep when I got home. Of course, I don't have a 3 & 6 yr. old at home either. You take care. Shirley
