Looking for surgery buddy

Hi Fiona! I'm Crystal and just found out 4/12 that my lapband will be 6/5! I'm so excited, not scared yet, but I'm sure that will come. I hope we can all support each other as newbies. I pray for all of us each night and hope someone somewhere will pray for me too. Good luck to all of us!

Hi all. I have my surgery scheduled fro 6/11. I am 5'5" and 252 (did I just write that?) I am so excited about having the surgery but SO scared about the surgery itself. I have a 4yr old daughter at home, who is my life and I can't imagine not being there for her. I am sure everythin gwill turn out fine, but as a mother I have these feelings. Anyone else? Hi Amy! I am Amy too!!! And my surgery is scheduled for June 11th...and I have a 4 year old daughter as well...too weird! I completely understand the struggle with the Mommy Feelings...my daughter is the light of my life and I am terrified to be in a position that I cannot be there for her. I'm not fearful of the surgery or anything going wrong, just those few days that I am still in the hospital and after I come home still hurting and not being able to play with her! My only consolation is that Gramma is coming to stay for awhile and she LOVES her Gramma! You'll make it through!!! WE'LL make it through!!! Amy aka GiddyUpGirl
