yeah because my thyroid level is really low so that means I am out of my stump and losing weight again. Thanks for reading and snwering my post....

OK so i went to get blood drawn back in january and my blood work came out perfect except my thyroid hormone level was shot up the roof...the normal being .35-5.5 and mine was at 65. Being that high it was putting my other organs under stress and my hair was completely falling out and of course i thought it was because of surgery that my hair was falling out but anyways the DR. told me that it was leaning towards diabetes so guess were that sent me downhill my emotions were crazy and now i realize that back in december i was feeling really bad and unmotivated and now i know why because of my thyroid and by the way my weight had stalled alot too. So last week I went for blood work again and i went to my appointment last friday and GUESS WHAT I lost 16 pds in this past month since my last appt. in january and my thyroid level was very very good and it was all thanks to me for taking care of ME!! You know i was not taking my medication like i shoudl because i could not get it but going through that scare I realized that I need to take care of me and it paid off. SO now I am back at work after a week off and I weigh 218 and I started at 322 woo hoo yey for me.....sorry this is so long and with the whole run on's and all but i had to tell my friends from OH JUNE OF 2006... I am DEINFATELY looking into it. I posted to the PS board and was told if I was wanting plastics at a year out (most surgeons will make you wait) to start doing my homework in March. Ive started to ask around to find out who other WLS patients went to and their experience. Im planning on calling some in the next few weeks to make an appt for consultations. I also wanted to get an idea of cost so I could decide what I really wanted done and what I could live without. I have 28lbs left to goal What I would want done... jeez ready for the list?? under the chin lipod/skin tightened... I have a *slight* turkey neck.... arms done definately... breast lift/possible implants - id rather have them use my own fat if they could, not sure if I need a LBL or if a tummy tuck, thigh lift would take care of the issues. I also have horrible stretch marks under my arm pits above my breasts that need to be treated... I would be too embarassed to wear a tank top they are big thick and very pink! The most important to me at this point is the arms, breasts and tummy and the stretch marks near the arm/breast area.

Thanks Kim. I say you should go for it too. There are so many things that are now within our grasp if we only reach out to them. I am no spring chicken (43) and the thought of starting over is scary. But I really have no choice since my job is moving to Kansas and I am being laid off. So my hand is being forced but I get to choose were to place it. Michelle
