Topic: RE: HI EVERYONE! SOME GREAT NEWS!!!!
Its always nice to hear you arnt the only one experiencing something
Im also not too worried about it too much... Im hoping in the next week or so the scale will start moving. I just hate that I have so much weight in my belly still!! Thats the part Ive always hated... when I got approved I couldnt WAIT for that big ole belly to be gone and its still freaking here!!! Im also very excited to see what a change 30lbs will be! I could lose 30lbs before and not even see a difference... now just a little bit makes a big change!
Congrats on everything - such good things are comming to you!
Keep up the good work!

Ive noticed the same thing with pants... one day they seem big and the next they seem tight! I thought at first it was because of that time of the month but it just happens at random times and random days.
I weigh less now than I did when I was enterting High School which is super exciting
I wouldnt mind even not losing more weight and just having plastic surgery because I am happy with my body except for the xtra flab and wiggle here and there!! But I set out with a goal and want to make it!
Ill keep you posted if I start the plateau buster... I dont think of it as a "diet" since its just for 10 days.. at least its not as limited as the liquid diet!

Glad to hear I am not the only one!! I am also glad it is spring - makes me want to be outdoors! I have been slacking some on the exercise as well... been a lot of things going on in my life and I havent made myself a priority so I am very happy to be starting with the trainer. It is expensive but if Im paying for it I will definately show up because I cant afford to just throw money away!!!
Ive also been dealing with being tired... started around 6 months out. My bloodwork all came back fine... B12 was on the low end but still within the norm. They switched me from Bcomplex to just B12... I havent really noticed a difference. Ive started having to drink energy drinks in the afternoon to make it thru the rest of the day and to be able to work out in the evening. They said it could be my body took longer to "suffer" from the malnutrition and thats why I am dragging now.
Ill keep my fingers crossed for you to!! Seems like there are a few of us stuck in the "25lbs left to lose" boat!

Hi Jennifer,
I am about 24 from my goal of 140. I keep bouncing between 166 and 164, and have been bouncing from 168 to 164 for the past month. The fit of my clothing is bouncing too. Some days I think I need smaller pants, and then oops, they fit fine again. Come to think of it, all of me is bouncing (swaying, slapping, swinging).
I too am not complaining. I am the lowest I have been in 19 years. I actually fit into a size 8 pant (though other brands I am still a 10 or 12--even a 16--what's up with that $#*&!!!).
If you go the plateau busters route, keep us posted about your progress. The word diet still strikes fear and avoidance to the core of my being.

Nancy it is so good to hear from you!!!!!!!
I have been thinking about you and hoping you are doing well. Congrats on the new home. How exciting. Will you have trouble selling the old house with the leakage problems? I hope not.
I had been losing really slow since last November. But I cut out most carbs in the last couple weeks and have lost 7 lbs. So I am happy to have found my inner will-power for now. I had been sliding down that slippery slope of cookies etc. I also was eating too many tortillas, bread etc and have cut that way back. This tool is amazing. It is totally true "It works, if you work it".
Glad to hear your friend is doing better. I have some work news myself so will post that in a different post.
Take care, Michelle

Hi Jennifer. Yes, I am on a stall too! I guess it is a 9 month stall. I am 25 pounds from goal too. I weigh 180 and would like to be 155. Like you, i feel so close and feel like after losing 130 pounds that I would be able to get these last 25 pounds off without many problems. I would like to lose them by my one year. But I have lost maybe 6 pounds in the last two months. I just can not seem to break the 180s. I normally don't weigh regularly but I did weigh yesterday morning and weighed 180.0. Sooo close. So I weighed this morning and it was 182! I couldn't do anything but laugh. I just can not get out of the 180s. I do try and eat really healthy. Primarily Salads and vegetables and some meat. I know I do not get in enough protein. I recently found the Power Crunch protein bars and those are sooo good and I eat two of those a day for protein. I also do not exercise regularly. I was exercising 4 times a week but in the past few months I have maybe went to the gym 5 times total. I hate the "winter blues". I am happy it is spring time now though and I hope to get more active.Of course I am very happy with my progress and if I do not lose any more weight, would be happy but it is horrible to know you are soo close to that goal!!! I haven't been feeling really well over these past couple of weeks. Really tired and weak almost and also some nasuea. So, I am going in for blood test on Monday. I may be lacking something and that might also explain my stall. So, we shall see what is going on with that Monday.
It does sound like you are doing great. I am sure it will happen. Just be patient (this coming from the most impatient person in the world!).

Topic: HI EVERYONE! SOME GREAT NEWS!!!!
Hi Everyone!
It has been sooooooooo long and I wanted to check in and say hello to my extended family!
I hope you are all doing well! I am on a plateau with my weight loss,I am doing everything right, the scale just won't budge and I am not worried about it! my body will do what it will and as long as I know I am eating right and doing what I can as far as excercise I just have to deal with the plateau until it breaks,Dr.said not to change my diet that my diet is right on the mark and that I have to be patient, that this is completely normal to happen at this stage of the surgery.I am totally okay with it!
I have some very good news to share with you all!!!!
My friend that I have been helping out with her business for the past several weeks has made a great recovery and came back to work a week ago!!so life is getting back to the norm again!
As many of you know I had some serious flooding issues last summer, last week with all the rain we had and snow melt the basement started flooding again, not bad though..THANK GAWD!!
but it was enough to send me right over the top! DH came home from work and I was having a COMPLETE meltdown,it was one of "those" days................
so he said come on,he makes a call and said we will be there in 1/2 hour...I am like where are we going? he said to Berwick, don't ask no more questions okay?I am like geez okay!!! we pulled up in front of this home, this lady came and opened the door lol.....I am clueless by the way of what the heck was going on! and he said remember don't ask me any questions!!just take a look around and tell me what you think........
OMG! I loved it! it is a ranch home, 4 bedrooms, fireplace, central air,big deck, fenced in yard with a inground swimming pool, and attached garage.super nice, what was Not to like?
I asked him what was going on? he smiled and said...........
"WELCOME HOME"!!
I was like WHAT????????????? he said, I knew that you would love it! he said he got a pre-approval on the mortgage and if I wanted the home it was ours,I was like YES!!!! but where is the for sale sign that should be on the front yard,he said they hid it to surprise me!!
we left and went to the Century 21 office with Dawn (who I know now is a real estate agent) and put our deposit on it!
so as of last evening,we started the process! if all goes well with the inspections,we should be moving in the last week of April!!
What a great surprise! I am still in shock! and I am so happy!!
We have been looking for a ranch home for the past few years because my back is so bad and steps are my worst enemy!
This is like a dream come true!!
My daughter is thrilled about the move as well!! which is a biggie since she will have to change schools, but she said she is fine with it,the school is several blocks away from the house so she will not have to take a bus!!
I will be sure to keep you all updated on how things are moving along!
Please keep us in your prayers that everything works out with the inspections and we have no serious issues!
((hugs))
Nancy

Topic: 9 month stall?
Anybody else experiencing a stall? I had a stall back in Nov (7 months) and ended up with a 1lb loss for the month... in Dec I lost 11 and Jan 11, last month 5lbs and this month I lost 1lb, it found me again so I am at 0 lost for the month. I checked my inches and they are the same! Just wanted to see if anybody else had the same experience? I have 25 more lbs to go to goal... so close yet so far away!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will reach my goal by 1 year out... Dr told me 150-160 was my goal so I went with 155...Id be happy to be at 160 in June!
I have been following my NUTs guidelines, exercising, getting in water and vitamins etc. Im starting with a personal trainer today (so exited!) so I am hoping the change in my workout will kick start my loss. If the scale doesnt move again next Tuesday I am going to do the plateau busters diet.
I am so greatful for how far Ive come so I am definately not complaining or being impatient!!! Just wanted to see if others were seeing the same thing. Im anxious to get these last pounds gone!
