Topic: RE: Hope for those of us with a stuck/slow scale
I have about 10 to doctors goal, 30 to mine...and have stopped losing. To make matters worse, I've got the crazy carb desires coming at me. Some days I feel like a failure, but I am doing this...
Good luck, and congrats on your new pants size....

Topic: RE: Anyone taking anti-depressents?
Hi Kim-
I am sorry you are having troubles. How scary your husband thinks your love has changed. Not knowing how our bodies will process meds is very hard too.
I am wondering if I need a little help myself. I seem to be having an increasing problem in social situations. When there are discussions I worry about what I should be saying or that I am not contributing enough to the conversation. Then I get so involved in my thoughts I end up staring off into space and looking like I am bored with the conversation, which is not the case. I had this minorly before surgery but it seems to have increased quite a bit since surgery. I am not sure what it is called or what can be done about it.
Take care, Michelle

Welcome Vicky-
If you read some of the old posts you will see quite a few of us have had problems w/ grazing. I seemed to get in under control for a couple weeks and then started PMSing and was STARVING all day last week. So I need some help again.
With only 6lbs to goal it sounds like you have done a great job. Keep your eye on the prize and you will get there soon enough. Maybe just look at one food item that you would like to eliminate and do it. One thing at a time won't seem so hard. I eliminated bread or tortillas with my food this month. It seemed to work and I have lost 6lbs this month.
Good luck, Michelle
Topic: RE: Ladies swimsuits?
I am looking for a suit too. We are going to Palm Springs for a few days during DS spring break next week. At 321lbs I was not shy about wearing a bathing suit and walking around. But here I am 130lbs lighter and I have reservations about walking around with all that extra skin. Sad huh? I think I really need some good bra support. Today I found a little pair of shorts made out of swimsuit material for $10. I think they will hide the inner thighs and saggy butt as they are supposed to be tight and stretchy. I'll have to try them on tonight and see. If not I can return them. I think I will wear them over a regular suit that has bra support. I do not want to spend $75 on a suit either.

Topic: Hope for those of us with a stuck/slow scale
I know there are quite of few of us within 30+/- pounds of our goals that have seen non-moving or slow moving scales (including me!!). This month, so far, I lost 1lb, it found me again and I think this week it may be gone again woo hoo! Well... this weekend I had a "wow" moment as well as a ray of hope for everybody.... I went to Old Navy to buy some capris for the warmer weather (you wont catch me dead in shorts!)... I tried the 14... too big... figured what the heck and tried the 12s... they fit *dance of joy*. This morning I put on a shirt I bought last month for work (I wore it two weeks ago).... its too big!! Im going to check my inches with my trainer tomorrow so Im guessing there will be at least some difference there... Im hoping this is my signal that the scale is going to start moving again!

I was taking Effexor previously... to get off I had to do a 6 week step down program to safey get off the effexor... I didnt experience any side effects during this time!
