Actually, I'd like to know that also so if anyone has info from their dr or nutrionist, I'd be interested in a carb/fat range. If I'm eating 80-100 grams of protein, should I be eating about the same of carbs - less? - more? I haven't even thought about fat b/c lots of what I eat is lower in fat, but it would still be good to know. Please someone chime in! Way to go, Misty, on keeping your eating in check!

I have been doing much better since the weather has started warming up! I am walking every lunch time @ work. Today we walked over a mile. I am great @ taking my vits. The reason why, you might ask? I get TERRIBLE leg cramps otherwise. I have been having 1 protein shake a night. The water isn't so great. I have started drinking Diet Coke again too. Robin

Hi Karen. I have been doing ok with eating - not grazing or eating sweets and trying to stay on track. I have NOT been doing good with vitamins and water. I have only been getting in 48-55 oz of fluids a day and I have not been taking my vitamins. I started taking them agian this week. I am going to do the best I can to take them everyday and figure out how to get in more fluid. By the way, I recently started using fitday.com to track everything I eat and drink. Do you know a range that we should stay in for our Fat and Carbs? I asked my Nurse and he said that was not a concern as long as I am getting in protein but I want it to be a concern. How many grams should we not exceed for fat and carbs? Thanks! Misty

Hi Jennifer. That is great. I hope my stall lifts up soon. I actually started walking during lunch at work this week to get that extra exercise in. I lost one pound. I know that is not much but compared to what I have been losing, I will take the one pound. Not to mention that one pound put me in the 170s I am now officially 179. Oh yeah! That gives me enough encouragement to do whatever it takes to break this stall. I am stronger than it is! (I Hope ). I am happy your scale is moving agian. Keep it up so we can all use your drive! In reading the other posts, I'm thinking that I and perhaps others need an extra push to stay accountable for our eating, fitness and water/vit goals. I know I have not been really good on the eating end but I have been keeping up with my walking, vits and water. How's everyone else doing?

Thanks, ladies - I looked online and I'm going to look a bit at Kohls and the mall before making a decision.

Congrats, Jennifer! We do need to stick in here and encourage each other. I'm trying to up my exercise but not having much time to do that. In another month though (when vb season ends), I would love to take up tennis again. Maybe sign up for some lessons to see if I still know how.
