I was having such bad pain the last 2 days and went to urgent care in my town and the Dr on call wasnt familiar with gastric patients and suggested I go to ER. So I called my surgoen that is 1 hour away and he said to go to ER and they would call him in. SO we get there and then they do the scope thinking I had a blockage but nope its a nasty ulcer that has been there for awhile he said. Yes I have had some pain off and on thinking only that I hadnt chewed enough or something like that. So now on nexium 2 times aday and back to liquids for a few days too. I also just wanted to say HAPPY EASTER to everyone and have a wonderful day.

Topic: It's been a while...but here I am.
Hello everyone! It's been a good while (like last summer) since I've posted. I used to spend at least 20-40 hrs a week at my computer pre-op. But post-op I just don't have time to just "sit" anymore. I rather be outside "doing life". But, I am trying to do better about keeping in touch with my "peers". I moved away form my surgeon a few weeks post-op and there aren't any support groups near here (Winona, MS). I miss talking with others that know what I'm going though. So here I am I'm back. I work a funky 7 days on/7 days off schedule so if you don't hear from me in like a week it's probably my 7 off and I'm buzzing around somewhere other than in from of my computer. I apologize, I normally send holiday cards out to my June Bug family (who's address's I have),but with our moving in the next several weeks,things are very hectic and busy, I did not get a chance to get to them,I am sure you all understand!

I bought a couple of new tops..... I couldn't bring myself to buy the white trousers lol. I also bought a silk chamisole with matching silk boxer shorts 
Yeah I think its nice to remember the good things that are happening to us. Its so easy to focus on the negatives. I think the day made such an impression on me because of the more catty and negative remarks I've had. I must visit her more often

Sharyn that is so wonderful. So many times on these boards we read about jealous friends and people losing their friends because they don't like what they see anymore. How great to hear another side of the story.
So what clothes did you get?
