Topic: Scale is stuck, but new hope that I am not
Hi everyone, I have been frustrated with the scale not moving for some time. One of my clients went out of town for about 6 weeks and came back for the first time today. She made a comment about how good I looked and that I must have lost a lot of weight. Well, the scale hasn't moved an inch in all that time. Well that's not true, it goes up, it goes down, but mostly it just stays in the same place. So I am about 161 at the moment. So I guess that I must be toning and getting leaner. We kind of laughed about that and she made a comment about how muscle weighs twice as much as fat. So think about it, if I was all fat I could weigh under a hundred pounds right now--haha. So all you in the same boat (and I know you are out there), keep the faith. Our brains might not be able to see the changing body shape yet but others probably can. This still begs the question, why do my pants not seem to be getting looser? Lori

That is so great! I will be talking with a NUT soon. I need to learn how to maintain. I know how to lose and gain. When I started this, I went through a Weight Loss Center. They went under about 5 months after I had my surgery. I have been winging it on my own ever since. I really need help! Robin

Thanks all! It is a go! I am the second surgery scheduled. I will find out my exact time soon. Hopefully I will know before Friday! LOL I have went back and forth with this in my head. I am just going to go for it. I think if I hesitate I will lose my nerve. Believe me, this takes a lot of nerve too! I HOPE this doesn't hurt as bad as the Muscle Repair did. I have been told that this is an 'easy' surgery. Time will tell! Robin

I am glad you like it. It totally gave me the runs. I actually had to leave work that day. I threw the rest of the container out. The Fage yoghurt do not do the same thing though. Not sure why the TJ brand did. Michelle

I like: ZONE protein bars Small cans of tuna with the pull tops (or bags of tuna) Lattes made with skim milk and sugar free sweetener (made by O'Monin) Pretzels and then I dip them in low fat cream cheese I also eat a lot of the "Smart Ones" forzen meals.. much easier than cooking!

Topic: RE: How is everybody doing?
I've been doing better than I ever expected. I am 5'1 and started at 218lbs. My goal was 122. I met that goal around x-mas time, and am currently at 106lbs. Now the goal is to do some major TONING UP! You'd think at 106lbs, I would have lost my belly - but it is still there. It's easy to hide it in the winter, but not as easy in the warm months. I'm still extremely pleased though, and would do this surgery again in a heartbeat! Heather
