A wonderful post Ben I know of someone who was so scared by their reflection (up in the middle of the night for a bathroom visit and half asleep) that she actually thought there was an intruder in the house and screamed!
well done!

Topic: RE: Post your wow moments!
Hey I have an even bigger wow moment. My last post (right above here) I was saying how I was now wearing a size 16 that was looking a bit baggy in the butt, but I was going to wait before getting a 14.....well, all my sizes in that post were off. I am actually wearing the 14 and going to wait before getting a size 12.
Size 12 OMG! I haven't been a size 12 since I was about.....well, 12.
Okay, so is this the clothing industry conspiracy that has something to do with vanity sizing, or is it possible that I really might fit into a size 12 for REAL?
This might get tedious for everyone, but you are certainly going to hear about it when I get my big butt into a little pair of size 12 pants.

Nancy, I am so looking forward to the updated pics. You are doing awesome. I am on a loooonnnggg stall.
Sorry to hear about the need to change clinics. You know, things are so different from one surgeon to the next. My surgeon does zero follow-up--some people get booked in for an 18 month panniculectomy, but I'm not even sure how that follow-up consult happens. Most of the other Canadian surgeons do some follow-up at least. Most of my follow-up is standing 3 month bloodwork , that I might get called in about if there is anything unusual.
We have no support groups here that I am aware of. So all my support comes from this board....Thanks guys!!!
Having said that, I am sure having a hard time learning new eating habits. I worked from home two days this week and totalled off a half a bag of crackers. I was craving carbs like crazy.
That's great news about the new size pants as well. I picked up a pair of pants at Costco today--a size medium. I remember hiding the size tag because I (ridiculously) felt self-conscious that someone would see the tag and then look at me and think I was deluded to believe I could buy pants at Costco, let alone a medium. Get thee to an extended size store, girl.
Anyways, congrats on the changes. Can you believe how quick it has come off?

Nancy- That is so great! You are doing so well. I am sure you will do fine with your new surgeon. I really did not like my surgeon and avoid seeing him. Kaiser has a bariatric clinic that does all our labs and NUT visits etc so that helps. Gotta love the price of those jeans. I recently bought a 16W and it is already getting big. Have a great weekend.
