Thanks Lori! We acually do have a support group that meets every week, but,it is at 7:00 pm and is 25 miles from home and I have a hard time driving at night and my husband works nights so no "driving miss daisy"(as he puts it! lol) to the meetings,so I like you get all my support from the board and you are so right! THANK YOU TO ALL!!! You are doing fantastic too,a size medium!WOWEEEEEE!!!! I think it takes a LONG time for our heads to actually catch up with the weight loss,I still go in the store and look at the sizes I have been so used to buying for years,4X and 32 pants and realize that those numbers are history (thank gawd!) and then head to the smaller size...OMG Lori we are using the word "smaller" gotta love it huh??? hang in there with the stall hon,it will break been there a month ago!! ((hugs)) Nanc

Awe thanks so much! your doing fantastic too! I just looked at your profile and new picture and my goodness what a big differnce! you look GREAT!!!!! as for the whole change over,Geisinger has several Bariatric clinics, their clinics do the same thing with visits to Nut,blood work, and such too,the clinics are located right in the hospitals and it is very convienent, the reason I didn't get my bloodwork friday is that the lab was so packed and I didn't feel like sitting there for a hour or so,so I decided to wait until monday and have it done.I have no patience for waiting for stuff like that! lol.... My surgeon's office is actually down 2 floors from the clinic! The clinic I am going to is the same exact way so it is no differnt that what I am used too,I actually started there at the beginning of the journey,lol...now I am ending up there! I just decided to go to the Wilkes Barre clinic beacuse it is closer, the only concern is that I just need to adapt to the new Dr. I 'll adjust!!! Nancy

Just my 2 cents....but are you getting enough water? I know when I went through a time of no weight loss, I wasn't getting in enough water. Just a thought. Congrats on the weight loss! You big loser you!

Romey I had my surgey June 6th. I have lost 57 lbs also. I have been at a 5 week stall. In the last couple of days I weighed in and it moved. Down 2.5 lbs in 3 days. Your body is probably adjusting to the loss. You might also be lossing inches not weight. Keep up the good work and remember we are not all fast lossers. It will come off. Be patient. (Believe me I know that is easier said than done)

Hi Romey! I am SO GLAD that you posted! you are VERY WELCOME here and hope that you will stick around with us! this board has the greatest bunch of people you will love to get to know! To answer you questions best I can: Best thing you can do is not compare yourself to others Romey everyones weight loss is so differnt,we all have started at differnt weights and heights and metabolisms and surgery types. first off A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!!!!!! 57 pounds is AWESOME!!!!!! and you should be very very proud of that! as for the scale not moving,it is NORMAL,I went through a major drought too for almost a month and I know there are several here that are going or have gone through this as well. It is your body catching up! and I assure you it will move again! usually when you least expect it!LOL...just be patient,it is hard because it is a very annoying and trying time but just hang in there! as far as what you are doing sounds like you are doing exactly what you are supposed to! If you are in question I would call your nut and go over your menu with her/him and make sure that you are eating the correct carbs and fats in your calories. I honestly think you are just in that funk stage of catching up. Please keep us updated!! ((hugs)) Nancy

Hi Everyone- I also had surgery in June. After reading everyone's great weight loss posts, I am kind of upset the scale isn't moving as fast for me. I have lost 57 pounds since my surgery June1st. The scale has not moved in at least three weeks. I thought I had a least a year window. I have been at the gym 3-4 days a week with at least 45 min on the eliptical. I started writing down my food intake and protein intake too. I have been taking in 1200-1500 cal. a day and 70 grams of protein. This may be too much??? I have at 70 more pounds too go. Maybe I should call my NUT? Any suggestions? Thanks, Romey
