Jeanna - I'm glad you are back. Sorry to hear about your job. I'll keep you in my prayers. 1. Were you tempted by the Halloween candy? Did you partake in any? (remember be honest, we are only here to help) Yep and yep - but not much (not like last year - stealing my dd's chocolate) 2. What are you doing different for Thanksgiving this year since surgery? Eat a lot less I'm guessing. I don't even know what I'm doing yet for sure. 3. Have you started your Christmas/holiday shopping yet? No. 4. How close are you to your driver's license weight? No weights on DL in Texas! 5. Are you having any problems sleeping? Sometimes - I feel fatigued like I'm not getting enough. I'm still use the CPAT machine but the mask doesn't fit as well anymore.

Topic: RE: Haivng Hair Loss? These WILL help!
Hi Sherry! The hair loss that we are experiencing is only a temporary thing (thank gawd)!! the use of products like this and Nioxin will work like a booster to help the hair begin to grow faster. The shampoo cleans deep The conditioner opens the cuticle and I believe the follicles The treatment and serum absorb into the cuticle filling it with nutrients that promote the hair to grow where it has fallen out once the hair is growing in well, you can determine when you want to quit using them. Rogain is for people who are losing hair due to alopecia, hereditary (sp)..etc... The hair loss will continue,(my nut said it usually stops at about 6 to 7 months)but by using the products you are working at helping the hair that has fallen out to regrow quicker. Hope that helps! This is why I like this board... everyone can be honest and not be afraid of being "lectured".. it makes me feel better and actually inspires me because I know others are going through the same "food choice" issues... Today was not a good day for me eating... I too have found a little chocolate doesn't make me sick... and I have already slapped myself for doing it...but I need to be accountable. Last night dinner: 1 cup beef stew Snack: 2 fun size snickers (darn trick-or-treating!) I ate one after dinner and one later in the evening. It did satisfy my sweet tooth though..and back in the day (pre-surgery) I definately would NOT have stopped at 2 fun size!!! Today: Breakfast: 1 piece whole grain toast with peanut butter, herbal tea with splenda Snack: 5 pringles lunch: 1/4 cup mandrin oranges and 1/2 cup cabbage with ham snack: 5 pringles 1 fun size snicker (hey..at least they have nuts!! I'm done with them..don't worry. I feel terrible for eating it) Dinner: 2/3 traditional sandwich from Quizno's, didn't eat all the bread, decaf tea. See.. told you I was a bad bad girl today.. After I ate that snickers today I just sat for a long time and contemplated why I did that last night and today. I know it's an addiction, but I can't believe after all I"ve gone through I couldn't resist the urge. It's still such a journey. I have things to work on still. Water: I try.. drink as much as I can during the day and evening VItamins: multi-vitamin, biotin, calcium.... all in! Exercise: Need more.. I walk a lot at work. Thanks for helping me be accountable, and for letting me be honest. What a blessing!!! Kim
