Topic: RE: Where is the energy?
The pills are useless?! I didn't know that. I'm going to see my PCP this Friday. I'll ask him if he'll give me the shot. I'm sick of this lack of energy! I don't really know how much protein I get in a day. I guess I should be keeping track of that. I do get my water in most days, though. Thanks for the advice, Nancy.

Hi Nancy,
I walk around the house with a blanket throw wrapped around me. I have a thick robe already. I really dont know if I can take it when the real cold sets in.

We must have been having the same thoughts today. I went to Costco and picked up flannel sheets. I've never really liked flannel, but hey desperate times call for desperate measures. This was after I picked up a down comforter last week, and have been prowling for long sleeved shirts. I also bought a super soft bathrobe, because my flannel granny p.j.s just aren't warm enough.
I've been burning the wood stove constantly. Last year I told everyone to put on a sweater and suck it up. So much for being self-righteous. I guess this is my payback. What I am saving on food I am spending on heating costs

Topic: RE: My bad! Progress report for Thursday 11-02-2006
Friday breakfastL (same as everyday) Activa yogurt with 1/2 apple.
Snack: string cheese; about 12 pieces of chex mix from teacher's workroom
Lunch: 6 shrimp, 1/2 apple, cracker
Snack: small hand full of mixed nuts; V8 juice
Supper: dark chicken meat w/out skin, 3 T. mashed potatoes with gravy
I also snuck in 4 sugar daddy's from the Halloween jug - ahhhhhg- they are so tempting.
Exercise: not much, the weather fronts have really hurt my arthritis and I am having trouble moving at all. I try to park further away, walk instead of email at school, and am interacting in the student activities, especially at recess. I need to work hard in this area.
Water: better today, but it is really hard to drink enough at school - bathroom breaks are difficult to come by.
Vitamins: missed on Calcium, but have messed up many times this week.
All in all, its been an OK week. Note to all, the Activa has really helped me feel better - and helped with digestion.

Nancy, The joke around school has always been that if you are hot, go into Cyndi's room - she'll find some way to cool it down. Usually, I had the windows open in the dead of winter ****il a child complained) and the fan went all year long. Not this year, I'm already wearing turtlenecks, sweaters, and even got my winter coat out during Recess duty. What am I going to do come the real cold we get in SD. aghhh
To echo the others, I'll take the cold over the insulation, but I really am concerned about the winter...maybe I'll have to buy a pair of longjohns and take lots of warm baths.

I know how you feel. Part of mine is because I am going steady from 5:30 am to whenever I happen to get to bed - although lately 11 is as late as I can go. I am not use to being this tired. About 9 pm I start falling fast. I'm also finding myself wishing for a nap around 2. I've found that exercise helps. I have arthritis so this is hard for me to get in, but when i think I'm the most tired, I take a walk, go outside and move, or just do some stretching and it revitalizes me a bit. I think I'm going to have to check out Nancy's B12 shot, rather than the pill. Good luck, if it doesn't get any better call the doc. lol, Cyndi
