Congrats!! You have done very well. I'm thinking it's about time for me to start thinking plastics. I think I've done about as much as I can.

Congratulations on how far you have come!! I've heard the best thing to do when you hit a plateua is to go back to basics and change things up. So go back to protein, protein, no/low carb, lots of water and exercise. You might try weight lifting in addition to the aerobics. When you build muscle mass, you raise your metabolism and burn more calories, even resting. Good luck!

Topic: Almost at my one year anniversary
Hello everyone, I'm new at this posting game. But I am almost at my one year anniversary. I feel great. Have had a few ups and downs along the way but I am getting there. I started at 435 pounds pre-op and today I weighed in at 258. Still have a long ways to go but thank God I've made it this far. Most difficulty is watching the portions and snacking. When I feel the urge I do something sugarfee or some fatfree popcorn. Everyday is a struggle not just among myself but listening to the smart remarks from others but it worth it. If I had to do it all over again I would. I'm actively engaged in an aerobics class 3 times a week but still the weight doesn't seem to move right now. I've hit a plateau and can't get down past the 250 mark. Any suggestions.

Topic: Plastic Surgery Consult
I am nearly one-year post-op (June 27)! I had a plastic surgery consult with Dr.LoMonaco yesterday. It went well. He told me that I do not need to lose any more weight, and that I am ready for plastic surgery. He told me that I have a lot of excess skin and that removal of it all will be a challenge. He recommended two separate surgeries: the first being a lower body lift (whi*****ludes an upper thigh lift and butt lift), a breast lift, and breast augmentation (approx. $25,000); the second surgery being an arm lift, chest lift, and inner thigh lift (approx. $12,000). When I viewed the photos that his assistant took of me, I was surprised to see how much excess skin I have, especially on my back. I was both encouraged and discouraged that I don't need to lose any more weight. Encouraged by the fact that I had lost so much body fat and that I am basically at my goal weight; discouraged by the fact that what I thought was fat is really excess skin that no amount of exercise will melt away.
