Congrats!!! This has been one of the largest and most important milestones in your life. Had anyone told you the benefits you are now reaping just being able to enjoy life , you probably wouldn't have believed them a year ago but just look at what being determined will do. We all fall off the wagon every now and again but the important thing is that we don't stay down. Again way to go and keep up the good work. Today is my suriversary and I feel great....

Hi Traci -Happy Surgiversary. I know it is late but better late than never! . We actually had surgery on the same day! And it has been quite a year hasn't it. You have done great and I hope you enjoy your new life this surgery has created for us.

Topic: MIA
So sorry I've been MIA for so long. I am having a hard time, in a time that should be my happiest time. I am eating more than I should. Life as been very difficult; but I am so thankful for this surgery. I am so thankful that I can handle the stresses without also physically hurting...I do not have to carry the extra weight (literally). I read this site often and take encouragement from the posts. Thank you all! Life is getting back to something close to normal and so I hope I can get on this board more often. You are a wonderful bunch. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR YEAR LONG JOURNEY. I hope each of you are healthy, happy, and a forever "LOSER" . LOL, Cyndi

Congrats Elisa, you've obviously done really well. I am curious though, what is the difference between a breast lift that you will get done in your first surgery, and the chest lift you mentioned in the second? Thanks. Lori

- The first year went quickly; and I feel great!!!!!. YOu ask, would I do it again??? Without a doubt. When I begun this adventure I weighed in a whopping 466 pds. Well, yesterday's offical 365 day weigh in was 285, making the grand total of 181pds. I still have some to go and nothing is going to stop me now... New pictures coming soon... Frank

Topic: Tummy Tuck on Tuesday
Hi all! Sorry I've been MIA. With the kids out of school and preparing for my TT on Tuesday I've been a bit nuts. Had my one year appointment on my surgiversary (the 20th) and all was well. I've been at my personal goal (130 - 135lbs) since January and a recent check by my personal trainer has my body fat at 21%. I'm really excited to have the excess belly skin taken care of! I'm lucky in that I don't need an entire lower body lift, just a simple tummy tuck without the vertical 'anchor' cut. I'm getting a little nervous that I've forgotten to get something ready kid-wise (I have 6 year-old b/g twins). I just want to make sure that it interferes with their lives as little as possible.
