I had not had a period for years before surgery.. my PCP said due to Birth control pills. I went off of them before surgery and now I have my regular crampy periods back. A bit heavier than I remember and the first few days I just want a heating pad and my pj's. I am thankful, however that the only thing I am taking right now is vitamins!!! No more birth control (which is sorta nice putting the responsibility on the hubby for a while!).. no blood pressure meds, no anxiety meds, no anti-depressents, no reflux meds.. it's great! Nancy After the surgery mine became regular(same time of the month) but for the first two months I had the cramps the third month was normal. The last month I did not have one, I had where I felt like I was going to start on the regular day but all I did was spot. I have an appt on the 19th and was going to ask questions then. G

Hi Karen! Go to the main message board,on the left hand side there is a list of things,click on "user settings" and it will bring up a link to add your avitar and you can add it there,this seems to be the easiest way to do it. Hope this helps! ((hugs)) Nancy
