Brooke, I have the same thoughts. Then I think, when or how else could I have lost 73 lbs in less than six months. Don't compare your weight with others...that will jsut bring you down. Instead rejoice in what you have done. You are a beautiful lady, good luck and CONGRATULATIONS on all you've lost thus far.

..... some days are better than others..and I think "wow, i have lost a lot of weight"....but sometimes I think "geez....it's not coming off like I thought It would, or like it should" ..... I thought it was just gonna FALL off I guess...lol
But I guess since I was so large to begin with, it is gonna take a bit longer to see such good results maybe?!
regardless I was blessed to be able to have this surgery I had tried to get ins approval for 7 years now...never could get it and fianlly cash pd it.... so I do count it as a blessing!!! I just gotta hang in there

Nancy.....the way I look at is hon, you are so lucky!!! I never like it. After surgery for about 3 months, I would get it every 2 weeks!!! UGH!!!!!
I am pretty regular now, but my b/c helps with that. If it is a normal thing, which by the response from your dr. and the responses on here, then count your luck stars, grab a pair a winter white pants and do the happy dance

I ALWAYS feel like this. I look at how much others have lost and compare it to what I have lost and think, how come I can't lose that much by now???? But then, I look at what I have lost and think, duh, I have done a great job already!! We compare ourselves to each other, every BODY is different. You are loosing, that is soooooo good!!! I am so proud of you for doing what you are.
All I can say is, keep posting on here, the encouragement is phenomenal!!!! It will keep you spurred on. Track what you are doing and post it on the daily post. It will keep you honest and everyone will encourage your achievements even if you don't think that they are.

Boy, Thursday, that was 2 days ago. I can barely remember breakfast today
B: cup Kashi cereal with 1/2 cup Vanilla Soy Milk
L: 1/2 meatball sub, cup broccoli soup, 2 cc cookies (I can't get the sweet monster undercontrol!!!)
D: 1/2 cheeseburger, 2 fries, 2 sesame breadsticks
Water: Execellent
Exercise: None yet
Vitamins: All in, yeah that's 3 days in a row!!!
Alcohol: None
Thanks Daniel and congrats on no longer being "super mega ulta obese"!! Isn't it a great feeling?????

Ok, so I am having a really bad morning. ... I am sittin here going through profiles og people who have lost A LOT of weight..and I am just getting sooo depressed...It seemd like my weightloss is just super slow...I had mine on june 12th and I have lost about 73lbs. My starting weight was really high...like 370 and I am now down to 297?! give or take a pound or so depending the day...I just get soooo discouraged and think I am doing something wrong...does anyone else ever feel like this ?!

I had it done! It was wonderful. The best thing I ever did for my knees besides losing this weight. I've lost a total of 112 pounds from my highest weight as of today!
Tell her to go for it, she won't be sorry at all!
