Amy. If you can get it in try upping your calories to at least 1,000. In combination with the exercise it might jump start you.

Nancy, thank you for the post, my family makes cookies-320 dozen this year, that did not really bother me. wasnt really tempted, BUT, i make about 24 lbs fudge. i made the ghiradelli chocolate walnut Sunday. that about killed me. i told my family they better enjoy it, might be the last time i make it. too much temptation there! i refuse to even taste it. cant go there! I will make the list for my fridge, that is great, teri

Amy, i had slowed down also on losing. i increaded my protein by an additional shake a day, and things have started moving again. that puts me at about 100g a day. teri

Hey Amy, First of all you should be proud of how much weight you've already lost. Second, there were a few weeks were the scale didn't move. I go to my nutritionist every week and she realized that I wasn't getting more than 600 calories a day. She said that she had another patient who was also eating less than 600 calories a day and not losing weight. Since then she told me to make sure that I eat at least 600 calories a day and to remember that includes the amount I lose when i work out. When the body isn't getting enough calories in, it can store everything it has. Since then, except for one week , I've been losing. I also continue to count & record my food/calories along with my protein. -Elana

I read a post a little farther down and several people are stalling around their 5th month. I for one have been fluctating within 4 lbs since mid October as well. I have been stuck between 211-214 for over a month! I went to the gym tonight hoping this would jumpstart my weight loss again. From what I understand though, this is very common and we will get past our plateau. Good job on the protein....wow! That's awesome! And congrats on 240... that's amazing!!!!

My coworker took this of me today. We had just finished a project at school, had outside recess (hat hair), and was totally fazzled. But its a recent picture so I thought what the heck. Put a couple on my profile that she took. I really do have to get some good ones though.
