Pre op I was 262.5, lost down to 256 by june 7,06 surgery and weigh 219. just got under 220 this week. my loss is so slow and in fact I've only lost 8 or 9 lbs since october. my goal is to weigh 170.
think i'll make it? sometimes I really don't see it happening.

I'm down 68.5 pounds from 246.5.
I had Lapband surgery.
I am now 178 pounds.
I don't have a goal...I didn't discuss it with my doctor or myself.
I really don't know. The minute I reach 150 I will be in uncharted waters for me. I don't remember when and if I was that weight even as a teen.
I wonder how you stop losing - other than opening up the Band some more and that for sure will cause weight gain.

It's great sharing all this. I have to admit that I was reading your responses and eating 480 calories worth of a King Size pack Reeces White Chocolate.
In due fairness it's about all I ate today and I consciously bought it and decided that it's what I want to do today.
I don't make a habit of it but I do graze a little. I make sure not to have anything in the house that I can go wild on.
I think I am taking these risks because I am losing weight even when I cheat a little...

There is nothing I would love more than meeting with you all!!!
because I am from Pennsylvania I would have to fly in.
I will need some information like where is the nearest airport and I would need a hotel room close to our designated meeting place,if you could get me some names and phone numbers that would be great!!
would I need a rental car or is there someone close that can "drive miss daisy" around?LOL!!
Of course I would help with gas expenses.
If anyone else is going to be coming from out of town/state and would like to share a hotel room please let me know,I think it would be not only fun but would help on expenses as well.
Ps.I DO NOT SNORE! WHHAAAA HAAAA!!!!!!!!
Any information you can give me would be a great help in preparing my trip.

I too cheat, I just finished a cup of neopolitan ice cream!!
Unfortunately, I do not dump at all!
I do however do things in moderation, and when I fall off-- I simply get up, dust myself off, and begin again.
