Topic: RE: What did you eat Thursday?
Sorry, I've been sick the past few days so my eating has been next to nil. As well as my exercise, vitamin and water intake. Oh well, at least I lost 5 pounds. I've been working on getting the protein, vits and water in today (Saturday).

Topic: Nearly normal
I am only ONE point off a normal BMI I started with a BMI of 36.4 and its now 26. My blood sugar levels are normal and my blood pressure was 120/65 down significantly from my usual 160/100. AND I finally went shopping for some new tops and pants.... size 10 fit I text messaged my husband from the shop and said.... how does green look on me? He messaged back.. Green? GREEN? who is he? I'll kill him. LOL. My dr is happy with where I am but I want to lose more. I'd like to be in the middle BMI range... not be tetter-tottering on the edge of 'overweight'. And finally......... my head is starting to catch up with my body I'm starting to enjoy this trip now

Jeesu Leigh! You are going to kill yourself if you keep that up! Thursday was a light day for me as well: B - Whole Grain Bagel L - 1 cup meatloaf, 1 slice cheese D - 1/4 cup wild rice, 1 cup chicken stew S - 1/4 cup peanuts. I'll do better today. Water and supplements good. Exercise: None

Cyndi. That is truly terrible! The kicker is the no insurance. I don't know how I'd be able to start over after that. The important thing is they are safe. Thank goodness for that!

How horrible Cyndi. Thank God they came away with their lives. Did they suffer any smoke inhalation? It is so sad to lose those momento items. They mean so much. He might want to take the time to write down what they mean to him and describe the items. That way he can at least preserve the memory of them and not forget as time fades. Give them extra hugs and explain the virtues of insurance. MichiGirl

I just had sea salt/black pepper soy crisps with my egg salad for lunch. OMG!!!! They were so good. They kind of tasted like Munchos if you know what they are. I will be buying more of these. MichiGirl

hey lady, Take this opportunity to take some time to yourself...then figure out what you really want to do. I went to school at 33 to be an elementary teacher. It took me five years, countless sleepless nights, and lots of hard work, but I did it! Find out what you want to do and go for it. I will keep you in my prayers dear. Love

Topic: GOOD BAD NEWS
My son lost his home and everything in it this morning in a electrical house fire. He got a way with his life (the good news) and a pair of boxers and white t-shirt. His girl friend also has her life (also good news) and pajamas. Otherwise they've lost everything: home, furniture, clothes, purses, computer ... and have NO insurance!!!!! Kenneth's great loss was his loss of memories...He had the flag that was draped over his great uncle's (and namesake), Uncle Kenneth, casket, his grandmother's ashes and a painting she's done, and also a pillow made from shirts from his other grandmother after her death. In addition, there were many other momentos. Everything else can be replaced (eventually), but these things are irreplaceable. I AM SO HAPPY THAT THEY ARE ALIVE, but still am crying and upset. Worse yet, I am eating...Eating...EATING! We have to go shopping looking for some clothes for them...at least underwear and a couple outfits. They need toiletries too. YUK!
