I had my 6 month follow up yesterday... yeah a little late seeing how I am 7 months out I am now 33lbs from goal... THIRTY THREE!!!!!!!!! I am down 64lbs since surgery... and as of this morning ONE HUNDRED pounds since I started this process. My NUT took my measurements yesterday and Ive lost almost 50 inches total! The most amazing was over 10 inches on my bust and 13 on my hips!!! Sadly... only 2 inches of my arms - darn those chicken wings!!!! I had a great visit and am feeling so amazing today. I was told to expect to lose about 5lbs a month now... this month I am now 7 already. Hopefully things will continue this way and I will reach goal by 1 year out. The last time I weighed 188lbs I was in 8th grade entering high school... its crazy! I cant wait to see what I will look like as the pounds keep comming off. I can no longer fit into Lane Bryant shirts (I was swimming in the 14/16!) and can still wear their jeans but now dont have to pay their crazy prices and can shop in "normal" stores!!! My birthday is comming up in a few weeks and I will have to say its going to be the BEST birthday EVER!

I had them when I was first post-op. I started adding benefiber to my diet and cut back on dairy (it causes a lot of ppl to have issues) and since then have been fine I dont use the benefiber now but eat a lot of fruits and veggies and it keeps it all good

I must agree with you about the pharmacy and most pcp could use it too! I had to have an antibiotic for bronchitis and told mine that i needed one that was not in a capsule form. What did I get??? capsules that i had to open and dump into applesauce. Worst experience of my life i think. YUCK!! Will make sure before i leave office next time that he listens to me! Glad to hear you are doing better Nancy! teri

Heeheeheehee. Aw, Sharyn, stop being so nasty to the fat folk, you have no idea how hard it is for them.

Well, I can't comment too much on the hemorroids, I developed them during childbirth, and they never went away.....although they are giving me a little bit more grief though. I can however, completely relate to the Torpedo Turd thing. I just keep hoping it is the old me being flushed, quickly and permanently down the toilet. Is that even possible?!? Lori

Kim, Congratulations! I keep going from 196 to 198. I get scared that my body is going to decided that it has had enough and just stop. Granted this past month, I haven't been helping things! The holidays are over and it is time for me to get back on track with my exercise/protein/water. Robin

Nancy, You are so funny! There was a very active thread on constipation. I asked the question how could it be so huge, when I don't eat that much??? My comment was the last in the thread! I still would like to know how this happens! I seem to be having problems again. The only thing differet is that I have been taking iron. I feel 100% better now, exact this problem... Robin
