4 days post TT with pictures...

I had my TT on Tuesday. I came home that night without drains (simple TT without anchor) She ended up doing a lot more muscle and fascia (the covering over the muscles) work than she expected. Apparently the fascia was ripped to pieces - she guesses from the twins because the damage was far greater than usually seen on a WLS patient. The muscles were in good shape but there was still a separation in the center so she stitched them too so I'm very sore through the middle. The line of stitches isn't too bad unless I reach too far in any direction and pull at them. I've been mostly sleeping for the past few days and I must say the recliner I rented from Rent-A-Center is a god-send! I've added pre-op and 4 day post-op pics to my profile. Guys - they are graphic so feel free to NOT LOOK! Carolyn

Not look??!!?? Are you crazy, I am so curious. Your pre pictures look like the same basic shape as what I am now, just skinnier because you were an overachiever (compared to me) I hope you are starting to feel better. I just bought a recliner, purely coincidentally, but now I'm glad I did. Heal well my friend. Lori

I actually was referring to the male guys with the not looking - I figured the women would have to look - I know I would! I'm now 9 days out, off pain killers and feeling pretty good!! My abs hurt like I've done about 5000 crunches but the incision area isn't bad at all. I'm still spending hours a day in the recliner though with the help of many pillows I'm back to sleeping in my own bed. In a couple of weeks I'll take more pictures and post again! Carolyn

Okay, I looked. Glad you're feeling okay Carolyn. Must feel like quite a difference. I'm starting to resemble a deflated balloon all over. Will have to think about this in the future. Cheers! -Dan

Yikes Dan! Yes, the difference is incredible. My squishy ball stomach skin is all gone!! It's very very tight right now.
