How is everybody doing?
I know a few of us posted before saying we were having problems with the last 20-30 or so pounds. I started with a personal trainer and after 2 weeks the scale moved 3pounds - woo hoo... that was my total loss for March. I was so happy and hoped that trend would continue... well now Ive had 2 weigh-ins for April and the scale hasnt moved yet!!! The week before last I was in CT for my grandmas funeral so that week was a wash... I was stuck not eating the best and not being able to exercise but have back on track this week. I do weigh daily but only pick one weigh day and my scale keeps going up 1-2lbs and then back to the same weight I started. One day it flashed me a lower number then just backed up again!! I think it likes playing games!!! With the 1 year annerversary approaching fast I am getting anxious to reach my goal... a month ago there was no doubt in my mind I would reach it but now I am not so sure. Ive once again changed my goal.. its gone from 155lbs to 160lbs... now my goal is just to get into the 160s... Im currently 178 (and 179, oh and 180, and for a 1/2 second 177!!!). Ive been using fitday.com (which I didnt previously) and have been working with the trainer and getting my cardio in... it would be very nice to see some results!! Even if the scale didnt move if my inches would I would be estatic!! I am going to a plastic surgery seminar on Monday and have an appointment with a PS on May 10th - I am scared to death he will tell me to lose 20 or 30 more pounds... even if he says I need to be at goal weight I just dont know if my body will go there!!
Anyways, enough of my boo-hooing!! How are the rest of you doing??
Way to go on working with a PT! My weight has been much like yours - up, down, up, up, down. Currently I've been on a downward movement -- mainly b/c I've been really busy and not having time to eat. I don't expect that to continue as I'm getting ready to have 3 weekends out of town with restaurant eating. Or maybe it will be good - I never can seem to eat much out. I guess it's the high fat content or something. But finding some snacks to take is hard (hint hint - my other post on protein!) Our work gym is supposed to open in May so I'm hoping to go back to working out, but that might stall the weight gain.
Hang in there. I think you just have to stay with it. Eat your protein, drink your water, do your exercise, eat your vitamins. It will eventually come off - it just takes time. You are doing so good. And fitday is great. I took a week off from the journaling but have got back on b/c I was afraid if I didn't.
I've been at 132-135 (my goal) since Christmas, mostly bouncing from 133 to 134. This past week I went to Las Vegas and with all the walking and lack of snacking (it's big meals or nothing there) I came home and weighed in at 127.8 this morning. I don't know if this is an aberation, a new set point or if the 4 months I was at one weight was a plateau but we'll see. I wouldn't really want to go lower though.
I've chosen a plastic surgeon and I'm waiting for a date for a tummy tuck. She says I have a really good underlying muscle tone and a simple extended hip-to-hip tummy tuck will do wonders. I'm hoping to have it done in early July.

I've been doing better than I ever expected. I am 5'1 and started at 218lbs. My goal was 122. I met that goal around x-mas time, and am currently at 106lbs.
Now the goal is to do some major TONING UP! You'd think at 106lbs, I would have lost my belly - but it is still there. It's easy to hide it in the winter, but not as easy in the warm months.
I'm still extremely pleased though, and would do this surgery again in a heartbeat!
