I'm new to this website, still learning what I can and can't do on it.I haven't even been able to post my picture yet. I am looking for AZ patients of Dr. Blackstone who had their surgeries in June of '06. I would really like to see how everyone is doing with their weighloss and maybe arrange some type of reunion . Hi Olga- Welcome to the June 06 board. It has been pretty quiet here lately. Have you tried the Arizona board to see if you can find anyone there? That might be a good start. So how are you doing with your surgery? Michelle

Hi Michelle, Thanks for answering me. I have tried the Arizona Forum several times but unfortuneately, i didnt write down the names of the people who were there when I was there. I am doing pretty good after my surgery I think. I have lost 131 lbs and I am feeling gung-ho about it. Alot of loose skin, but that is better than alot of extra fat. The weight has slowed down alot which sometimes gets discouraging but its preferable to gaining weight. Can I add you to my friends list?

Sounds like you are right on track with the rest of us June bugs. I have so much loose skin I flap in the wind. My weight loss had been really slow since last November but I cut out most of the carbs this week and have lost 3 lbs. So I guess it really is possible to get back to basics and start losing again. I am really glad to know that. I think if you go back to the AZ board and post about wanting to get to know people who had your dr you would probably get responses. Then you could add those people to your friend list so you would not lose track of them. I know the CA board is much more busy than the June 06 board here. So maybe there are more people on the AZ board too. But please stay here too. we need all the June bugs we can get. I sent a request to be on your friends list. Michelle

Thank you again! You really made me laugh when you talked about flapping in the wind cause I know that feeling. I will continue to check out the Arizona board, and I will continue to come to this one too. Everyone always seems so nice. Take Care!

If your Az. board is like our SD board, probably not much action on it. I come to the board quite often but isn't usually much to write about. I am down about 130 lbs, depending on the day. I too have slowed way down and will flucuate a bit. I had tummy flu the other week and that put me at 172, but I've gained back five of that. I am having trouble remembering why carbs are a bad thing, so struggle with that. I would like the June bugs to meet in June but don't know if that is physiccally possible. Oh well. I'll put you on my friends list.

Hi there Olga and welcome to the June 06 board... We had surgery the same day but not with the same Dr! Congrats on losing 131 lbs that is amazing! I have lost 149 lbs and also have seen my weight lose SLOW down a lot! I got the loose skin too but like you said its better than all the fat! Well take care!
