Hi all, WOW indeed you are all doing so GREAT!!!!!! I've only lost 84# since initial weigh in but 95 since my heaviest. I know that's still alot but would like it to go faster. Am having real problems with hangy skin.....arms, belly thighs. Anyone else? I still have about 25 grams of protein shake per day. Can't seem to get in my 50-70 grams if I don't. Is anyone having taste problems since surgery? I know I should think it fortunate but most foods taste awful. All bread products and even some meats. The only thing that still tastes as I remember it should is cheese. Keep up the good work. I'm so proud of all of you. Life is good. Anna

Hello Bay St. Louis How are things in Bay St. Louis? I lived there when I was about 13 years old. (Quite a while ago) We moved from Bay St. Louis to Waveland and then to Picayune. I loved Mississippi. I live near Charleston, South Carolina in a small town called Summerville. My RNY was done June 9, 2006 and so far I have lost 120 lbs. I have a way to go but seem to be stalled right now. I guess it's time to step up the exercise. It sounds like all of you on this board are doing great. Our group, Lowcountry Bypass Buddies, are taking a trip to Myrtle Beach this weekend for a girls weekend. It should be fun and I thin the weather may cooperate. Take care! Dollie

Hi Dollie, You're doing great! How was your Myrtle Beach trip? Hope you all had a great time. Spent a few days in Charleston a couple of years ago. What an interesting town. Plenty to do and see there and the history is amazing. We're in the process of rebuilding our home after Katrina wiped us out but it is all good. Didn't like our house anyway and wanted to do extensive remodeling. Other than the loss of sentimental things it was just stuff and can be replaced and it certainly moved the "remodel " up a bunch. Actually we had to start rebuilding from the ground up. We've only lived in Bay Saint Louis since October 2005. Would like it more if we'd get some stores back. The only shopping place we have is WalMart. Have to go to either Slidell or Gulfport for anything else. What are you doing for exercize? Stalling out is quite common and I'm sure it will pick up again real soon. Keep your chin up and keep up the good work. Have a great day Anna

Hi Dollie, Can't find your most recent reply to me....but here goes. Glad to hear you all had such a wonderful time. Amazing to think you've lost 2000 pounds together. That deserves a big Horray! Bet it was nice being with people who understand what you've gone through. What an awsome accomplishment. We're still busy trying to get the house done. Hope it will happen someday. lol I'm sure it will. Predicting a busy hurricane season. Hope they pass us all. One can only hope I guess. Wishing you continued success. Anna
