Hi everyone! Well I got back Tuesday from my getaway this weekend, and we had a awesome time! gosh I needed that!!! Getting ready on Saturday evening to go to a show,a huge chunk of reality set in.I was getting ready and in the hotel they had huge mirrors on the walls and I got a good look at what I look like naked full body now, okay the look was not so "good"! I am going to need plastics no question about it! All of the excercise in the world is not going to help! my arms and legs thankfully are almost back to normal...... !!!!!!!!!!!!~BUT~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Going to need a hell of a boob job! they are no longer boobs, they look like utters from a cow!ROFL!!! and the tummy/panni area are in desprate need of help! I am 15 pounds from Dr.'s goal and I know I have to wait until I am at least a year out (which I have no problem with) I want to make sure I am done losing beore I go ahead with it. But, I am starting the ball rolling now,as most of us all know there is so damn much red tape to go through with everything and it usually takes months and months to get what your after.I called and made an appointment with a surgeon and I am going next month( see,it is taking a month for the first appointment!) I am curious as to how you are all doing with the skin issues and if anyone else is looking into this yet? if so what are you having done? Thanks! Nanc

Hey Nanc, Unfortunately, I have the hangs everywhere. My arms are like bat wings and my legs flap when I run (Hey I can run now.) And my tummy, well... My breasts were little to start out with but now they are deflated water balloons... Plastic...don't think the money will be there for a while...and I've heard it hurts like h***. I'm not sure, but yeah, its not a pretty site nekkid...looks OK with clothes on...Hey, did I really say that!

Hey Nancy, good to see you. I look like a shar pai dog. My inner thighs look like I am 90yo. I showed my 11yo and he screamed and ran away. My bat wings can take out a small child if I move too quickly. My boobs are now booooooooobs. My butt looks like I am wearing a diaper under my jeans. The only good thing I have going for me is no turkey neck waddle. I for sure am going to get stuff done. As much as I can afford to do. I know Kaiser will do my tummy but I will lose my Kaiser insurance once I get laid off in May. So there goes that. I really want my arms done because for some reason they bother me the most. I keep catching a glimpse of them out of the corner of my eye and it is not pretty. Once the ole booooobs are in a bra they don't bug me. My cup size has only changed from a DD to a D so far. So they look pretty good with the right bra. You are smart to get moving on it now. I am not close enough to goal to be able to start. I still have about 45-50lbs to go. Good luck to you. Michelle

Nancy, I definetly have been thinking about this for a while now. My husband and I were actually talking about this last night. I want my arms, stomach and legs done. My legs are what bother me most. From a previous job I worked at I did a lot of heavy lifting and I got stretch marks all down my legs so I'm even embarassed to wear capris. the stretch marks have gotten a lot lighter but I still hate them, I'll trade them for one scar as oppposed to all the little ones. I would love to have my plastics done soon too since I am 20 pounds from goal but I still want another baby and think it is best to wait until after, So I have at least 2 1/2 - 3 years to wait. Keep me posted on your progress and let me know everything so I know what to expect in the future. Karen

I am going through this also! I actually have a consultation on Feb. 18th. It takes about 4 months to get surgery scheduled. I will be a year out by then. My doctor has a goal weight of 170 pounds for me. I weight about 195 right not. At that point, I will have lost over 100#s and my insurance will pick up some of the cost. I need a Lower Body Lift and a Boob Job! I am so not happy with my Neck, Arms, Upper Thighs! However, I don't want to keep having surgery! It is painful and expensive! Robin

You're lucky Nancy! I'm below my surgeon's goal and the plastic surgeon I called wouldn't even let me make an appt until I was a year out! My stomach and boobs and butt are a mess too. I may have been a "light-weight" but I became pregnant with my full-term twins at my highest weight and they did a number on me and I nursed them for a year. Add that to losing 100lbs and YUCK! I'm planning on calling another plastic surgeon after I see my GYN in 2 weeks (I'm having issues with excess skin in "that" area too). Hopefully she will have some help/suggestions for me. And by the way, LOVE your new avatar!! Carolyn

I am about 33 pounds from goal and am going to start next month with consults at plastic surgeons. I wanted to get an idea of the cost as well as find one I am comfortable with and do all the research. I am hoping to have surgery around June-August time. There is a bunch I would like done... after talking to the surgeon about limitations and costs Im sure it will change but... I want my arms done, breast lift (possible implants if they need filled but for now they just need to be put back where they belong!), tummy tuck, and some thigh work... not sure if I will need an LBL or a thigh lift or if working out over the next few months will help. I also have stretch marks around the arm pit area from my boobs sagging and would love to get some work on those as well.... cant wear tank tops because they are just yuck looking!
