Awesome Excercise find!!!
Well I decided that I would venture up the attic last night and start doing some serious cleaning and throwing.
going through boxes I came across a box from High school,yeah I am a pack rat!!! in the box I found some old excercise items or THINGS!LOL...you should see the bodysuits and tights you would roll 
!!
I can't believe I actually wore these *

hand weights,ankle weights some sort of bands? vhs tapes
and a TRUE GEM!!!
a doorknob excerciser
some of you may remember this one it was ropes with pulleys on it you attached it to the doorknob.
Well last night I decided to try it out and I can tell you this!
IT WORKS! BIG TIME! how could I know? I can't move today! I used muscles I am not using in my everyday workout and I LOVED that! not the pain..lol..but the fact that I am targeting other areas.
I wanted to let you all know about this because I feel it is a great item!
I remember using it in high school when we didn't have the kinds of excercise equiptment that there is now and it really worked then too!
I talked to my MIL and she said she saw it in a Dr.Leonards catalog,I went and did a search for it and I found it if is anyone is interested in it here is the link, if you can't click on it, copy and paste this into your address bar

It is VERY CHEAP! only $7.99! and worth it,my motto is if you can feel it it works!
I am actually going to buy another one as a back up "just in case".
If anyone comes across anything that can be helpful,being equiptment,videos,gadgets etc...please post and share so we can all give em a try!!

I remember these exercisers...They've come and gone over the years...When I was a kid in the early 70's, I used to use my sister's...then they came back in the 80's. I graduated in 1981, so, it shows my age.
I don't have anything saved like you do, but, I do remember having to wear gym suits! YUCK.

Hi Nancy- That is a good buy if there is no shipping. I saw the same item at the local sports store for $12.99. Glad you found something that you like. You motivated me to stretch and use my yoga ball last night while watching tv. It felt good and I don't see why I can't do more of that instead of sitting on my booty all night.
