6 Month Update!
I am officially down 71#'s! I can not believe this. I will NEVER compare my WLS to anyone elses. I have NEVER lost this amount of weight. I am so proud of myself.
When I saw Dr Kole, he asked me if I had started my Repliva 21/7. I didn't have a clue what he was talking about. I had my 3 month appointment back in September and through my bloodwork they discovered I was anemic. They had it recorded that they left a message at the end of Sept. I am not sure what happened. I know that I went on my cruise around then. Anyway, that would explain why I am so tired! So today, I had more bloodwork and he started me on my perscription!
We also talked about a goal weight. He said 170 would work for me! I was SO happy! My gyno had said 128!! On a bad note, he said that I would probably need a lower body lift. I have always carried my weight in my abdomin. I can't have the surgery until my 1 year anniversary.

Congrats on your loss - that's wonderful!
I'm a little frustrated. I was supposed to have my 6 month on Wednesday and the doctor took off, the office failed to call me to tell me that and I left a closing to make my appointment. They said they called but they were using a number that they never used in the past. Anyway, the torcher was the ladies were having such a good time yakking in the back, they wouldn't even come to the front and at least get my paperwork and do my weight/bp, etc. I rang the bell several times. I called out "excuse me, excuse me!" **** - I was so disgusted in their lack of professionalism that I slapped the paperwork down and left. They finally remembered me 20 minutes later and called me to see where I was. I'm really really p-oed right now. I realize that the doc has got the money and all the follow-ups are gratis but it really ****** me off. Sorry, I needed to vent. This has been bottled up for several days.
Robin-
You look GREAT!!!! I am so proud of you and your accomplishments. It is hard not to think about comparing ourselves to others, but we are who we are and we are all going to lose at different rates. The main thing is that we are LOSING!!!!!
It is funny, you look at the lower body lift as a bad thing, I look at it as a good thing. I am finally going to be who I am meant to be and if a little nipping and tucking is needed then so be it. We will finally be the people that we always knew we could be through all of this.
Congrats again & Merry Christmas!!!
