I started at size 26 pants and 22/24 top and am down to a size 16 pants and L/XL top... oh and from a 10 in shoes to a 9 91/2!! I am excited for the next few months to pass and more of this weight off to see what I will look like!!! I weighed around this weight a few years ago but the last time I was any lighter was when I was in middle school! Happy Holidays everybody!

Jennifer. Congrats on being 6 months out. I'm glad you've put some positives forward in your post. I know from reading your profile that you've been frustrated recently. I wish nothing but continued success for you. -Daniel

HI Jennifer, congrats on the 6 month mark. How do you feel? Are you able to eat more now? I'm also a slow loser and I definitely know how frustrating that is. I think I lost only 1 or 2 pounds this month also. What's up with that? My pants feel tighter also (even though I lost). I am getting frightened that I've stopped losing. I go for my 6 mointh check-up tomorrow.... wonder what the doc will say? Anyway, you're doing great! and doesn't it feel good to have lost nearly 60 pounds? Hugs, Cindy

That's Awesome! I'm 6 months also and almost exactly mimmick your loss and everything. I'm only down 50 pounds and from a 26 to a 16 as well. It's cool HUH! It's funny all of my skinny friends are like did you cut your hair or something???? And all of my plus size friends are like WOW. You've lost half a person???? Does anyone know if your body remodels like with the Roux-en-y ????? I've been told by friends with the GP that this happens. You all keep up the good work! Hugs Falice

I'm piggybacking on Jenn's thread here. Today is my six month surgery anniversary (I'm still not quite comfortable with the so called surgiversary terminology.) I'm down 147 pounds. I'm in size 54 waist pants down from size 70. I'm in size 4x - 3xlt t-shirts from 6x's and back into size 20 and 19 dress shirts from size 24. I'm working out 4-5 days a week now; cardio, weight resistance, core strength building. I feel like I can take on the world right now. I talked with my surgeon on Friday and he said my goal of getting to around 225 (another 153 pounds) is not unreasonable. It would be extraordinary, but given how far I've come so fast, it's within reach. I celebrated this morning with a 40 minute weight lifting rotation. I'm celebrating this afternoon with a 45 minute eliptical rotation. New pictures coming after I reach the 150 pound loss mark. Thanks for all of your support and sharing the steps on your journey. You continue to insprire and challenge. -Daniel

Hi Jennifer, Congratulations! Things are slowing down for me as well, but I figure I will take any weight loss I can get this month. I can't remember the last time I actually LOST weight during the holidays. Can you? Good job!
