I'm here, I'm here! Sorry to have made you worry. Life has been really hectic lately. It is my busy season at work and I am working my tail off. No time to goof off and be here. I have been on here and read a bit but have not taken the time to check-in. I hope everyone is doing well. I still haven't gotten all my tests done for my urinary tract problems. I had to postpone one of them and they couldn't schedule me until after Christmas. I have been in a bit of pain but no blood. So that is OK. 11yo DS just finished soccer last night. He is the goalie and got kneed in the face. He is OK but mad that the referee did not blow the whistle to stop play and the other team scored after hurting him. So unfair. Anyway losing that game knocked us out of the playoffs. Meanwhile tonight he has his strings Winter concert. He plays the stand-up bass. It is huge and he fits in the case. He just started playing in Sept. so is really not ready to play for a crowd. So it should be interesting to hear how he does. DH is finishing up a few classes so has been busy with that. I had to return the fall baseball equipment because it was during DH work time. DH is coaching DS basketball team but had a class during the draft time. So I had to go do the draft and pick the team. The commissioner told DH I did a good job but I didn't know if that meant I picked a good team or that I didn't make a fool of myself. Saturday I am going on our annual trek to help decorate the Rose Parade floats. I go with my siblings and a few others. We usually do a full Saturday early in December. We do the dry materials like rice and dried flowers. The live flowers do not get put on the floats until right before the new year so they don't die. It is fun because there are usually 15 or so floats in the warehouse and we get to see them all being decorated. Makes watching the parade really fun. I will have to miss the soccer party with DS but DH will take him. 21yo DS will be home from college this weekend. Not sure how much time he will spend at our house since he likes to be with his girlfriend and friends. He will be home for almost a month I think. Well I got a little wordy and now need to run. Happy holidays to everyone. MichiGirl
