I was thinking about getting some in hope that it would make my skim firm up. I know after losing so much weight that I am going to have some loss skin but hey it worth a try right? Has anyone used skin firming lotions did it work or not? If so what kind?

Hi Alycat, I havent tried any firming creams either, but just wanted to say this is a good idea.

From what I understand Aly once your skin has stretched.. it's stretched. Kinda like knicker elastic... once its pinged, its pinged lol. Exercise can help tone the muscles underneath which improves the appearance but really surgery is the only way of solving the loose skin problem. I think creams help psychologically and its good for your skin to keep it moistureized but I wouldn't be spending a lot of money on it. I think skin firming creams on your face can improve the appearance short term... it helps hold it up for a little while.. and I'll use that for 'special occassions'. I'd rather put my spare pennies in my PS money box for later tho. S.

Hi Alycat, I've tried Loreal, can't remember the name exactly. It has two products that combine when you pump them out. It works fairly well for my neck waddle, but only for a few hours. I was thinking of buying stock in preparation H and bathing in it everyday, that would do the trick (just kidding, for those of you who don't know my sarcastic sense of humor). Lori

Keeping the skin hydrated always helps it... way I figure firming lotions cant hurt. I use Niviea (sp?) lotion... its priced the same as most other lotions... I havent seen any miracles but Ill keep on using it anyways! If it even helps .000000001% thats good enough for me

I do use Palmer's Coco Butter formula with Vitamin E. And it has nothing to do with the fact that my husband loves the smell of it LOL

hello Sharyn, I have started using thermafirm from avon and I can tell a difference in my face. my old double chin still wants to be noticed and wrinkles up and kinda of just hangs there. If i run out it starts hanging again but it works well as long as you have your supply. jackie
