Yeah, 100 lbs lost
Well, I finally hit the 100 mark. I stepped on the scale and it said 203...WOW! I cannot believe it. This time last year I weighted anywhere from 312 to 316 depending on the day and time of day. In April, I was 308, and June 8, surgery date, I was 303. I will go to the doctor on Dec. 28th. I hope to be in one-derland by then. That is only 4 lbs, but I have to go through Christmas and all the treats.
I have been terrible - have been sneaking some of the Christmas goodies, especially the white chocolate pretzels and homemade caramels. I am not doing good...ate two caramels yesterday and five pretzels today. Oh well!
Thanks for letting me share people. Love you lots. riding a new horse with a new attitude.
I agree - pre-surgery I would have probably had 6-8 cookies over the course of a few hours and if there were pretzels and caramels - problem dozens in the same time period. We just have to learn portion control! And 2 caramels and 5 pretzels - sounds like good portion control. Maybe you can make deals with yourself -- Like you get your treat of a caramel and 3 pretzels at the end of the day if you did good.
Congrats on your weight loss. You are doing awesome!
CYNDI, congratulations hon!!!!! I love the fact that you are riding a new horse with a new attitude!!! We are all going to ride off into the sunset with you and have a blast doing it!!!!!
I LOVE THE PICTURE!!!!!
Like the others said, portion control. Everyday I have had candy in the past couple weeks. I should be able to have a piece or 2 but now a handful a couple times a day if not hour, like I used to. We can't beat ourselves up for it, that would be going back to our old habits and those were thrown out with yesterdays' trash!!!
Keep up the great work and you are going to knock the socks off of your doctor next time you see him.
