Hi Nancy: I am 51 and had not had a period of 2 or more years. Three days after surgery I really let loose. This happened 2 more times. I have not had anything for almost 2 months. Surgeon said it is very normal. I didn't miss it one bit. Hope this helps. Jeanne

Nancy.....the way I look at is hon, you are so lucky!!! I never like it. After surgery for about 3 months, I would get it every 2 weeks!!! UGH!!!!! I am pretty regular now, but my b/c helps with that. If it is a normal thing, which by the response from your dr. and the responses on here, then count your luck stars, grab a pair a winter white pants and do the happy dance !!! Jeanna

HI Nancy, I find my periods are quite a bit heavier than they were presurgery. They are regular (30 days like clockwork). My pms crappy mood is worse than before, which must be torture for my family because it was bad enough before. Here's hoping for a quick slide into menopause if that is what you want. (Maybe I am being presumptious, I have NO IDEA how old you are ). I'd love to slide into menopause myself though. Lori
