What was on your menu this weekend?
Well, I want to start this off this morning. I feel like I have been eating and eating this weekend, but when I went to enter it in FitDay last night, it wasn't as bad as I thought. I went to the coast this weekend and to a neighbors gathering - fresh grilled crab (caught off our dock), fried flounder, yum. It's funny, the way it was being cooked was perfect for me - first the flounder, then half hour or so later, the grilled crab. The neighbors (who are good eaters) were trying to get me to fill my plate up with the mac-n-cheese, pea salad, italian bread, hush puppies but I was happy with my proteins - flounder and crab. Only way it would have been better was if they were grilling the flounder instead of frying it. But, hey, I wasn't cooking and as much as I can eat, didn't make much difference for a once in a while type of thing.
Sunday:
B - 1/2 ham/cheese kolache (too heavy)
S - protein drink
L - nothing
D - 1 grilled blue water crab, 4 oz fried flounder, 1 bite bread, 1/2 bite hush pupplie (yuck- very greasy)
S - peanut butter & pretzels
Saturaday
B - protein drink
L - 1 chicken taco al carbon with guac & tomatoes at the food court in the mall. I ate the fillings and not the tortilla (see you can get good food at the mall food court)
D - cereal no milk (my bad)
S - pretzels
Water - pretty good, not fantastic
Vits - um, kinda only did these half way
Exercise - 3 laps around the pond each day plus 4 hours walking round the mall shopping
Alcohol - none
