OT: My friend died.

My best friend of twenty years died yesterday. We thought she had another month or so but she decided otherwise. I was with her and stroked her hair as she took her last breath. I don't know quite what I will do without her. Sharyn.

My condolences. My best friend, my mother, died 4 years ago. We too knew she was going to die, but were sure she had the summer left - she was doing so well. Then she got up from the supper table and started to the bathroom. One week later, we said good-bye and buried her 4 days later on her anniversary, Feb. 10th. I still ache for her. There are times when I call her number, only to realize she is not there. My heart aches for you - I can imagine how much you hurt. At least you were able to be with her when she took her last breath. Love and best wishes. LOL
