Saturday Roll Call

I miss the Wednesday Roll Call - even though I never got to it until Saturday, so I decided to start it up again...well kind of. Here goes everyone: 1. If you had one wish, what would you wish for? 2. What is your nickname(s) and how'd you get them? 3. What is one embarassing moment you've recently encountered? 4. How many children do you have? 5. Is there a significant other? :-l I know, not as good as Jeanne but I'm new at it. My answers: 1. I'd wish to get out of debt - not be rich or anything, but just out of debt for once in my life. 2. Smiles - my hubby gave me this the first time he met me. He said I had the most wonderful smile and used it readily. Sugar/ Sug - given to me as a child by my daddy. 3. I was walking at school when I realized that my pants were hanging a little low - and my undies were showing. Luckily, I had a long shirt on and so I don't think anyone saw the undies. I keep growing out of my pants - ooo, what a problem to have. 4. I have three boys, 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters 5. Yes, we've been married 25 years as of 9-11-06.

Okey dokey.... my answers (even tho it's Sunday here lol) 1. If you had one wish, what would you wish for? I would like to say something magnanomous like world peace, end of poverty etc etc.. but really I'd just like the people I love to all get on together. 2. What is your nickname(s) and how'd you get them? At school I was called Mac after Mac Trucks due to my size and my surname starting with Mc. Now I tend to get called Shazz or Shazza for Sharyn. Oh and occassionally Princess at work lol. 3. What is one embarassing moment you've recently encountered? Rushing my lunch at work and having to answer the phone. My lunch came back up and I had to keep talking! Luckily there was an empty coffee cup on my desk so........ gross gross gross lol 4. How many children do you have? I have two children now. I did have three but my eldest daughter was killed in a car crash when she was 15. I also have five grandchildren. 5. Is there a significant other? Yup there is. We have been married 3 1/2 years now. He is an American I met on the net around 8 years ago and in person six years ago. My first marriage lasted 18 years but didn't survive our daughter's death.

I'd love to go to Australia...jealous of you. My deepest condolences on the loss of your daughter. I cannot imagine loosing a child - and what it would do to a marriage. Congrats on your weight loss.

In HS - Little Heals (maiden name Healy, youngest of 3), Ca, Cal and Cali (for Carolyn); in college - Cal; amoung previous work friends - the social mistress (I planned all our get togethers) 3. What is one embarassing moment you've recently encountered? After showering at the gym, I realized the clothes I packed included: a bra sized 44DD (I'm wearing a 36C), a size 14 pair of jeans (I'm wearing a size 6), a very large pair of undies and a correctly sized shirt with a big stain on the front. I guess I was a little distracted when packing that bag! 4. How many children do you have? 6 year old twins! Katie & Connor 5. Is there a significant other? My husband. What is one embarassing moment you've recently encountered? oh my must I re-live this? ok,I was at pain management last week,lying on the table,getting my back adjustment,the Doc took my leg and said push! as hard as you can! okay,guess what happened? I farted..I wanted to DIE! he saiddon't be embarassed it happens all the time,...right! 4. How many children do you have? Just one my 14 year old daughter Samantha who is the center of my world! 5. What is your nickname(s) honey ..lol..thats what my Marine call's me .my daddy when i was a child called me skinny ,i was so fat when i was 11 i told him please daddy don't call me that anymore ..lol... he said i'm sorry baby girl did'nt think much about it i have called u that every scence u came home from hosp at 3 pounds .....i loved my daddy so i miss him so . 3. What is one embarassing moment you've recently encountered? i was driving to see my daughter in hosp ,over an hour drive and started to throw up cars were passing and looking at me like i was a nut ..lol... 4. Cyndi- You were better than me!!!!! I was going to post tomorrow and work on getting Wednesday Roll Call back on track. This week I will. My schedule is getting more predictable and I am feeling much better about things, you could almost say that I have quite the positive attitude all of a sudden and it is growing!!!!! Thank you so much for taking over duties this week. It is funny, I really didn't think that I I made that much of an impact on the board, but seeing everyone coming out and posting makes me think otherwise. I am raising my right hand and repeating after myself, I, Jeanna, promise to continue with Wednesday Roll Call, no ifs, ands, or butts, oops, buts about it. Ok, I am so excited to answer the questions.....here we go. 1) My one wish is that I can really make a go of my business and that everyone takes me seriously with it. I have some really great goals set for myself and I need to continue to believe in me if I am going to achieve them. 2) JeaJea (sounds like Gigi) I don't even know how I got that nickname but it has stuck!! My nieces and nephews only know me as Auntie JeaJea. Actually, now that I think about it, my nickname is Jeanna. My real name is Jean, no offense to any Jean's out there, but I hate the name. It is not me at all. Ever since I was a baby, my parent's have called me Jeanna and well, it stuck. It is weird when someone does call me Jean, only my brothers call me that now and well, I tolerate it from them. 3) Embarassing moments. Ok, you are all family here, so I can share this. You see, my hubby and I don't pass gas in front of each other. I beg him to since my family incessantly does. So, the other morning, I got out of , stretched and next thing I knew, I passed gas. I was mortified. He just stood there and laughed. I told him it was his turn now. But alas, it was just me there in all my glory welcoming the morning with gusto. How embarassing indeed . 4) Children, oh, you mean my 2 fur balls?????? The only children we have are 2 dogs, Diamond our Golden Retriever and Bruiser our Chihuahua. They are like our children and we call ourselves Mommy and Daddy in front of them and every other time too. We address them as "Children" and they act like our children too. Otherwise, we have 2 1/2 nieces (one on the way) and 4 nephews. They keep us plenty busy. 5) Yes, there is a significant other. My DH. We were just saying that in April we will have known each other for 5 years and this will be our 4th Christmas together. Unbelieveable. We both wish we could have met each other earlier then we would be able to answer #4 with a yes. OK, as usual, my answers were long winded. I need to work on that. I never have liked my middle name so my sisters jumped on it and called me leigh-leigh 3. What is one embarassing moment you've recently encountered? My son in law was sitting on the couch, I thought asleep...I passed gas ... he got up and walked outside.I believe he was embarrased as I was. 4. How many children do you have? One daughter and one granddaughter 5. Is there a significant other? Divorced

1. If you had one wish, what would you wish for? That my children and grandchildren are happy, safe and no worries. 2. What is your nickname(s) and how'd you get them? Diane, it's my middle name 3. What is one embarassing moment you've recently encountered? I've have had braces for three years and they were taken off the first of this year....so now I have a retainer, and sometimes it makes me taken funny which embarasses me. 4. How many children do you have? 2 - 1 daughter (grandson), 1 son (2 granddaughters). and our cat daughter who is the only one left at home 5. Is there a significant other? Yes (2nd marriage), and I'm lucky to have him.
