Rebecca, I am with you... I've stalled big time. The last 3-4 weeks have been very slow, only a few pounds. Don't get me wrong I had surgery on 6/23 and I have lost 105, but now it stopped. The doc says this is normal, Sicne I've lost so quiclky int he first 4 months my body is catching up with itself... Hang in there he told me. You say you lost 81 pounds and that is great. even if it has slowed your still losing... Frank

My surgery was 6/20/6 and I am down 52lbs!!!! I am now 50lbs from my goal. On average I lose 8-10lbs a month My weight loss is "slow" even compared to some other lightweights but I am still greatful for every single pound lost! I am working extra hard from now until Christmas to get down another 15-20lbs!

I've lost right at 68 pounds since surgery on the 19th. For the last two months I've stalled two weeks per month, and averaging only 10lb loss a month. Since my appt on Oct 23 I've not lost anything, still stalled. I'm trying to up my water cause I know i've been slacking there. It's actually discouraging but then I think...68 lbs in 4 1/2 months...thats a lot. Keep your chin up and keep chugging away. It will start again. G

I had surgery June 14th and am down 86 lbs. Everyone is different, sounds like you are all doing well. I am averaging about 2 lbs a week now, but I will take all I can get!! Keep up the good work! teri

I had surgery June 22nd. I am down 85 lbs altogether and 70 lbs from surgery. ALthough I'm definately happy with my loss, I was just thinking this week how slow it has become... maybe 5 lbs a month??? Hmmm... I still have a long way to go for goal (50 lbs for personal goal).. so it is a little worriesome... I am able to eat more though..and thought maybe that is why it's so slow? (still can't eat a lot..trust me..but just more than the first few months for sure) I was wondering if anybody else felt the same way. Is this going to be it?? I'm honestly worried about gaining because it seems the weight loss has slowed so much..hopefully that's NOT the case...

I think it's normal. I've lost 88 pounds, 7 pounds pre-surgery. Mine has slowed down quite a bit to about 10 pounds a month. That still isn't shabby so I'm happy. But I will go back and forth with 3-5 pounds for weeks, then lose those and then play with the next 3-5. I finally got to Onederland -- but I've waited 3 days before saying anything b/c I wasn't sure if it would rise back up above 200. It's been at 199 for 3 days now so I think its official!

Yep..that's exactly the pattern I've been following also. I have 9 more pounds to one-derland.. which I guess will happen when my body is good and ready! Sometimes my scale doesn't even know how much I weigh!! It seems to go all over the place before settleing in on one number!! I'm feeling good though and I thank God for that!!!!
