Does anyone else have this problem? Seems like in the evenings, my stomach is constantly growling. Any ideas also on some good protein I can take? My surgery was the 6th of June, 06 and I know I'm not getting all my protein in. Taking ideas. Thanks, Barb

Sometimes when I am talking to someone who also had the surgery it seems as though our stomachs are having their own discussion. Too funny! As for protien, see if you can get some samples at your local health food store. I use optimum nutrition chocholate. I use it with soy milk, frozen banana, and splenda. Taste yummy. Good luck! Ben

I haven't found too many proteins I like. I am now using profect liquid protein. 25 grams in 2.5 ounces and it's gone before I know it. Lori

I hear what you are saying...but my problem is different. Everytime I eat, my tummy hurts. I don't know if I am eating too fast, not chewing enough, or what, but it seems to happen regardless of what I eat. I am also tired a lot. There is so much illness going on at school (I teach 1st) that I don't know if I am carrying some of these illnesses or if my tummy is acting up.

My stomach has been pretty quiet since the surgery Protein.. I like biochems 100% whey protein. Also like Isopures Drinks - 40g protein (apple melon and grape are the best.) I also eat Luna Bars (approx 10g) and Detour Bars (approx 15g)... other high protein items of course... chicken, tuna fish, natural pnut butter are some of my favs

Hi Barbara: I noticed the growling about 3 weeks ago. It doesn't do it all the time but once it starts it gets loud. A friend who had the surgery 2 years ago says his talks all the time. My favorite protein drink are the Unjury. I mix them with milk, some DiVinci sugar free sryups and in the morning some instant expresso. It is really good. Jeanne

I'm there with you, although my seems to more be my intenstines that my stomach. My visualization is it's getting squirted down the tube. Sometimes my growls when I've eaten or drank my protein. Sometimes for no reason. It's weird!
