I'm Back

Howdy June babies- I am back from my girls weekend in Palm Springs. I'll tell you all about it over on the "weekend" thread. I wanted to let you all know that after Friday I have not seen anymore blood in my urine. I do have a call into my PCP to find out what she thinks about my appointments being so far away. Although it is already the 6th and my CT scan is on the 13th. That is just a week away. I have to go do some blood tests first before the CT scan. On the 24th I have a cystoscopy. It is a visual inspection of the lower urinary tract. Not looking forward to that but the appointment letter said that there are no ill effects during or after the test. Lets hope they are not just saying that. Thanks everyone for your support and telling me I am not a baby. I guess because I do not see the blood now I am not as worried about waiting for the appointments. I will see what the doctor says though. MichiGirl

Hiya Michi! I am so glad you posted I have been thinking of you often! I am glad that the bleeding stopped! that is always a good sign.Be sure to keep us updated when you have your tests and results.I think as long as there is no bleeding and no pain you will be fine to wait for your appointments. That's great news MichiGirl. I saw you did a lengthy shopping trip. I am a clothes hound, but can't justify it at the moment--I'm definitely envious though. Lori

I really can't justify it either but I was down to one pair of pants that actually fit for work. The rest were baggy clown pants. I do not have good luck finding anything at the Goodwill or Salvation Army either. It was fun but not something I will be doing often. MichiGirl

Wonderful news...great. I am fortunate, I've got lots of friends who have grown out of their clothes and give them to me. Unfortunately, I am shrinking faster than I have available friends and will have to look at buying clothes soon. aggghhhh. Oh well, what a problem to have, huh?
