hay carolyn you look great how much have you lost I think Ive read things you worte before I wont to be 135 I weigh 168 now I it starting to move slow Im a size 10 thats great but I wont to be less weight Ive only lost 11 pounds since my last doctors apt I hope to be 155 by christmas I hope .kim it been almost 5 months doing you think useing 5 pound weights are bad I worry about gaining I was useing 2 I just started using 5 . kim
Hi Kim,
Right now I weigh 147 which is 75lbs down from surgery and 85 from pre-op. I'm wearing an 8 or 10 depending on the cut. My original goal was 140, but I'm feeling a little more ambitious now so I dropped my goal to 130. My weight loss has definitely slowed in the past few weeks, but I'm good with that because it gives me some time to get my head around it.
I wouldn't worry about using 5lb weights. Even if it slows your lbs lost it will speed up your inches lost. Right now I'm using 15lb dumbells for bicep curls, and I use fairly high weights on the nautilous machines too. I have pictures on my profile and the difference between the 3 & 4 months pictures is only 11 lbs but the weight lifting made a big difference
