Hi all

I wanted to introduce myself, I've been reading the posts the last couple of days and it's great to see other people that are about the same stage that I'm at. I'm here on the soon to be beautiful coast of Mississippi and had an open RNY on 6/21/06. I'm down 72lbs so far and feel great. Due to insurance I had to go to the other side of New Orleans(about 2 hrs away) but they covered it so I won't complain. I'm the 45 yr old mother of 4, 2 daughters that just moved to Illinios and twins boys in college here in the state. Been married 23 yrs to a wonderful man that loved me fat and can't wait to see me happy with my weight and health. I started @ 316lbs and am down to 244. Have a great day. Cheryl

Wow, great job. I was doing really well until I started teaching again. Now I'm having trouble getting the water and proteins in - and exercise, well running after first graders all day, but thats about it. I will get my stuff together again. Its nice having you on the site...lol

Hi, Cheryl. Glad to see you hear. You had surgery the day after me. It's nice to be able to compare notes with people at the same stage.

WELCOME ABOARD...sometimes the site is a little slow, but its the best anyway. Really, we are glad you decided to post...and congrats on teh weight loss. I had my RNY on the 8th and am down 70+ lbs, depending on when I weigh in. I am from South Dakota, have three boys, 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and am turning 46 on the 28th of this month.
